Cancellations & Refunds
Your booking’s displayed rate rules determine whether a cancellation fee or refund applies.
1. Review the current estimate
Open your TravelTal dashboard and select the booking. Review the stored cancellation deadline, refundability, and estimated fee before submitting a request. The estimate is not a promise of the final supplier-confirmed outcome.
2. Request cancellation once
Before check-in begins in the property’s local time, use the cancellation control in your dashboard. Do not submit the request repeatedly or ask the property to cancel separately while TravelTal is processing it; duplicate requests can make the reservation harder to reconcile.
3. Wait for confirmation
The reservation remains active until your dashboard shows “cancelled.” If the status does not update or travel begins within 48 hours, contact support and include your TravelTal reference.
4. Track each amount separately
When an approved card refund is due, Nuitée Travel Limited initiates it after cancellation is confirmed. Banks commonly take 5 to 10 business days to post a card refund. A cancellation fee, card refund, goodwill compensation, relocation expense, or dispute outcome is a separate financial event and should not be inferred from another amount.
During or after the stay
Once check-in has begun in the property’s local time, open a customer-care case to report a stay issue. Contact local emergency services and the property first for an immediate safety issue. Keep receipts, photos, and written property responses when relevant. A report does not itself cancel the booking or guarantee compensation.
No-show and early-departure outcomes follow the exact supplier rules shown for the rate. Reimbursement requires express authorization from the provider.
Non-refundable rates
Cancelling may return no money. If exceptional circumstances apply, contact support with documentation; an exception cannot be guaranteed.
